No practice on the 8th or the 12th

Hello Everyone!
Just finished up a long weekend of debate at the Stephen Stewart Memorial Debate Invitational and wanted to send you all an update. We had 6 teams attend (3 middle school, 3 high school).
- Two of our middle school teams Ari (7th) Ishan (7th) and Benji (8th) and Avik (8th) earned "Novice award certificates" for having a winning record. This is quite impressive as our 7th and 8th graders are competing in a field of mostly high schoolers. Both teams went 3-2.
- Ahren (11th) earned a speaker award as the 6th highest rated speaker out of a field of 140.
- Vikram (11th) and Eli (11th) broke to eliminations and finished as double octo finalists.
- Trevor (12th) and Shreyan (12th) finished as semi finalists.
Great job to all competitors, this was a wonderful way to start the year.
